Today we all slept in. Jean, Rachel and I went to Tzfat for the day. We took a bus up there. Walked up to the Citadel which during the War of Independence was under control by the Arabs. We then climbed down and tried to go to the Ha'ari Synagogue which was named for Rabbi Yitzchak Luria who was a founder of Jewish mysticism. We also went to the Abuhav synagogue which was beautiful, built in 1490s. Of course we had to go to the Candle Factory, I got some Hanukah candles for us!
We walked through the artist colony, though not what I remember it to be. Made a quick stop for some lunch before heading back to Tiberias.
Met up with the rest of the crew and went out for a last dinner at a Chinese place along the Sea. Had a nice time with everyone. Some of us went to the Tomb of Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon, Maimonides. Despite the late hour there were still a handful of people there.
Afterwards we needed something for dessert so we hung out at a pub along the Sea for a while. I love slushies!
